Thermal imaging can identify termperature changes in any body tissue or region indicative of impaired circulation. As a result, patients who may be subject to an impending stroke can be identified by vascular changes in the face and or forehead. Diabetic neuropathies can be identified and followed to determine if their treatment is appropriate. Potential bed-sore sites can be identified by noting vascular changes using thermography.
